Happy Birthday Brandon! 21, Wow!
With Brandon off in Italy we didn’t get to celebrate with him, but it sounds like he had a good time with his friends taking care of him, and the last I heard they were getting Gelato in the middle of the night, so it couldn’t have been too bad.
We started the month with the Phoenix Open. I didn’t have my boys to go with me, but Kim was nice and came along to keep me company.

I thought it might be a good idea to give an update on the Christmas puzzle. Hmm, it is February and it doesn’t look like much progress has been made. I’m just sayin…
I had to be in Chicago so I went early and Chayce drove down from Madison to spend the weekend with me. It was so great to see and be with him.
Here is Chayce in one of the glass observation boxes at the top of the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower. It is so cool to walk out and be suspended only by glass under your feet 110 floors in the air.
Chayce getting his first taste of Chicago deep dish pizza. I think the consensus was that it was good, but it isn’t NY/NJ style pizza.
Frozen Lake Michigan
Our final dinner at a Japanese BBQ, very fun and quite tasty.
Trip to Pine, AZ. Kim and I took a couple of days and used a friends cabin up in the mountains. The geography of Pine reminds me of Bend, so of course I loved it.
It’s hard to believe this wooded oasis is just about an hour and a half from our house, which is in the middle of the desert.
It’s hard to keep up with Brandon as he seems to be traveling the world. He visited Paris, Venice and Florence during February. Of course he continues to explore places in and around Rome.
Golfing one day this Coyote, came walking up to us showing no malice or fear. I have a feeling he has been fed by many golfers in the past. He was so tame.

That's awesome that you got to spend some time with Chayce. And Brandon looks like he is having the time of his life! What an awesome experience!!
Ha, I was thinking, when I saw that first picture of Chayce that he had lost weight living on his own but as I scrolled down I see that you are taking good care of him. I don't think I've seen a pizza that big. Ahh, it looks like Brandon is having a great time and seeing everything. I'm so jealous! I bet you can't wait to see him.
Loved the pictures and updates on the boys. Where does Brandon find all the pretty girls? Sunny Arizona looks good.
