December 2012 Report

This is a Crested Saguaro, this is a very rare defect that occasionally occurs on Saguaro Cactus.  This one happens to be in the McDowell Preserve located just across the street from us.  Kim and I discovered it during one of our walks with Shelby.

The boys came home for Christmas break.  One day while  Brandon was in Prescott visiting a friend, Chayce and I went out and played a round of golf at the course behind our house.  Kim took these photos from the view deck on the back of our house.

Uncle Thayne came with us to hike Pinnacle Peak.  This is one of the mountains you see from the back of our house.  It was a great hike, so come and visit and we will take you.

New Year’s Eve!

Brandon who was still in NJ went to a party with his friends.

We had the Higgins and Grandpa and Grandpa at our house for a New Year’s Party.  Not too many made it to mid-night, but those of us who did got to see a dozen or so fireworks displays.  It’s kind of hard to see in the picture, but there are fireworks all across the horizon.

Hope you all had a good holiday.  Have a great 2013.
