We started off the month with a trip to the Buffalo Chip with Chayce, Brandon, Chance and Kylie. For those of you not in the know, the Buffalo Chip is a great discovery we made in Cave Creek, AZ. It is a cowboy saloon that has good food and believe it or not live bull riding. In the back of the restaurant there is a rink where professional bull riders compete. While the bull riding is great, I think one of the most entertaining part is the the little kids that attempt to ride either calves or sheep (depending on their age). It is a great atmosphere with bonfires, rootbeer floats and lots of cowboys and cowgirls hanging out having a great time.
We joined the Highland and SoJo Riries in Park City for Thanksgiving dinner with Grandpa and Grandma. It was so much fun to be with everyone.

While we were in Park City, Kim and I closed on our new house in Scottsdale. It is nice to be settled in a permanent place so we can feel nested.

Unfortunately while “we” made it out of NJ before Hurricane Sandy, our belongings did not. Here is all our damaged stuff waiting to be hauled way. While we were disappointed to lose so much, we feel so blessed that so many of the things we really care about, pictures, videos of the kids, mementos from our family, etc. survived.
Have a Merry Christmas!!
