Happy Birthday Kim!!
We did “Bag-O-Gifts” along with breakfast in bed so I don’t have any pictures, but trust me it was a huge “Bag-O-Gifts” and the breakfast was to die for.
Bryce, Michelle and Megan came to NYC for Megan’s school choir trip and we got lucky enough to spend some time with them in the city as well as having Bryce and Michelle come out and visit for a night in NJ. I have to admit I’m still more then a little miffed that they made Megan go home with the school kids and didn’t bring her out to NJ, but I’ll get over it.
Megan’s choir is uber talented and we enjoyed listening to them. We got to see them perform in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and we also got to listen to them practice for their Carnegie Hall performance.
I don’t know how many choirs got together to make this combined choir prepping for the Carnegie show , but they really sounded great. Lots of talented kids.
After 2 years of planning and preparation, Chayce and Rob finally took their much anticipated trip to Bonaire. What a trip it was! It far surpassed any snorkeling or SCUBA diving I’ve ever experienced. We spent a week diving and racked up 22 dives and lots of great times looking at sunken ships, coral and more undersea wild life then it would be possible to count. We also had a nice time exploring the island and just hangin out. Here are a few of our pictures, as you can imagine we took hundreds of pics.
Chayce, not quite awake on one of our morning boat dives.
Former Slave huts
This is where we did our boat dives from
Diving on a ship wreck. This was one of our favorite dives.
Our package included this great little truck which made it oh so convenient for shore diving and getting around the island with all our tanks and equipment.
We couldn’t help but think this coral was keeping an eye on us.
Octopus
It was a great trip, the people of Bonaire are extremely friendly and the diving was outstanding.
Kim and I finished off the month by celebrating our 26th anniversary. We had dinner in the city and went to the Broadway show “Once”. We both loved it and highly recommend it to anyone who has the chance to visit NYC or if the show happens to hit the road and come to a city near you in the future. It was unique to any other show we have seen before.
26 years with a beautiful, patient, loving friend, what more could I ask for?
Have a great April! Blog you in May.

LOVE the pictures of your trip to Bonaire with Chayce - it looks like it was an amazing trip! Sorry about sending Megan home before we came to NJ - if I had known that us coming without her was such a disappointment (which I could have guessed if I would have thought about it) I would have let her stay an extra day. :) Thanks for putting us up anyway.
That was an experience Chayce will never forget. Love your blogs. Thanks for letting us enjoy your trips with us.
