HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brandon!!!
Wow, 18 years old, how time flies. Kim and I no longer have children, just adults. Perhaps some day they will become acting adults instead of default age related adults
Dinner at one of Brandon’s favorite places; “The Melting Pot”
The traditional ECR “Bag-O-Gifts”

Jessica and James surprised us with a visit. It was awesome to spend time with James he is beautiful fun loving little boy. Oh ya Jess was fun too.
Jess has amazing energy, she was on the go the whole time she was here. She loves NYC so spent most of her time there. Kim went in with her one day, Brandon, Kim and I another and Brandon even went again with her the third time she went in.
Our trip in on Saturday was so much fun. The weather cooperated so it was very pleasant walking around.
Our first stop was at the World Trade Center to check on progress of the of the rebuilding effort and to visit the newly opened 911 Memorial.

One of the highlights of Jessica’s visit was the discovery of the “Highline”. A formerly abandoned elevated railway that runs up the west side of lower Manhattan which has been reconditioned as a walking park. It is fantastic and provides a completely new and unique way to view NYC. We all loved it and can’t wait to revisit in the spring or summer when the vegetation is in full bloom.
Since we can’t get those SoJo’s to blog or even send out a news letter (hey now that I think about it, you guys at least used to participate in the news letter thing, how about you start doing that? but i digress) I figured I’d share a bootleg video I obtained on the black market. Here is a video of Alysha at a recent cheer contest, congratulations on your teams success Alysha!
Have a great March…We have lot’s going on, so hopefully some fun reports.
