Congratulations to Chacye on making the Dean’s list for the 3rd straight semester. It came with a lot of hard work and effort so we are very proud of him.
I’d like to tell you more about what he is up to, but he seems to have entered a cone on silence these days so we just assume all is well and he is busy.
Congratulations Brandon! We are still waiting for other schools to reply, but Bran has already been admitted to his #1 Choice for college, so waiting for the others doesn't make a lot of sense. He has been busy completing his registration activities and choosing his housing etc.
This photo was from when we visited ASU at Thanksgiving.
January has been a mixture of extreme cold and very mild temperatures with virtually no precipitation. We had one small snow storm and a couple of rainy days, but otherwise it has been pretty nice. I’m not sure if that means we are going to get away with a mild winter or if February and March are going to be killers…lets hope for mild.
I had to go to Miami for work and Kim came along for some R&R. Well it wasn’t all fun and games for Kim, she did have to complete a Spa treatment at the Ritz and dine on the rooftop of Red Steakhouse and at Joe’s Stone Crab.
As I mentioned we had dinner one night at one of my favorite restaurants, Joe’s Stone Crab. The original is in Miami and I have frequently dined at the one in Chicago. If you ever get the chance to get Stone Crab, I highly recommend it, it has a unique and awsome flavor.
Kim has continued to foster kittens so we had Pip with us for most of the month of Jan. He is a cute little guy with a huge personality.
Shelby wasn’t a big fan and felt her life was constantly being threatened.
Have a great February.
