I can’t believe I failed to write about the biggest event of April in my Report, so let me start with that. Kim’s Day of Beauty at QVC! The boys and I love to give Kim a bad time about her beauty products and the amount of time she spends watching “her” shows or reading the beauty forums on the internet. Well for a year now she has been planning to go to the QVC “Day of Beauty” at their PA facilities. So in April the big day finally arrived.
As I mentioned in prior posts the boys and I have been working on our SCUBA certification. One of the final steps is to complete a series of open water dives. I had meetings in Miami this month so rather than brave the still frigid waters of NJ, Kim and the boys joined me on the trip south so the boys and I could dive and Kim could make sure the pool was watched over while we were in the Ocean.
Our hotel “Fontainebleau” admittedly one of the nicer hotels we have ever stayed in.
This was our class, me and the boys are in the middle.
The three of us in a row on the bottom
Chayce and Brandon relaxing at our private 5th floor pool
Kim and Rob out for a night on the town in South Beach

Chayce has finalized his choice of college and we are now huge Sun Devil Fans!! (Go ASU)
He has his dorm assignment and is getting ready to start scheduling classes. We don’t know his actual room etc. but we get to start making deposits very soon. He is excited and we are excited for him. School starts mid August so he is going to have a busy and quick summer break this year. We have already purchased his plane ticket, so I guess he is committed. He seems unfazed by the whole thing, but his dad is a wreck!

We celebrated Mothers day with breakfast in bed (for mom) presents and dinner out. No cameras found there way into the action so we have no record that we actually did anything. But we do love her and are thankful for her.
I don’t know if you remember but a year or so age a young man in our stake was in a very bad car accident and had a traumatic brain injury. MTV has a show called Real Life which featured his story, it is well done and I thought you might enjoy watching it. Neal is his name, he is one of 3 featured in this show.

Shelby has been getting medicine put on her leg so she has to wear this really cool cone. It’s funny because she doesn’t realize how wide her head is because of it and she keeps banging into stuff.
We got out on the boat a number of times during the month. The water is warm and we have had several nice sunny days. Much to our surprise we took Shelby out on the boat for the first time and she actually did very well after a few initial nerves she settled down and had a good time. The worst part is getting her to walk out on the dock. This dog hates water.
Have a great June.

Great Blog. I recognized you three boys at the bottom of the sea. Glad you are enjoying diving. That hotel looks pretty cool. Looks like Chayce is ready for Arizonia. Nice to have you a little closer to us. Love MOm
What an awesome month! Miami looks like fun and we're excited that Chayce has made his decision and is heading to ASU - how weird that you are really that old! :)
The bottom of the pool at the hotel is really cool. It looks like you are really scuba diving.
Looks like a fun month. Congratulations to Chayce.
I sure love your blogs. You do such a great job. We love you and are looking forward to seeing you later this month. Grandpa.
