June 2013 Report

Our little (well not so little actually) Chuckwalla friend likes to come and visit, but then sometimes has a hard time figuring out how to get out of the back yard.

Brandon is working at Ariba, a Mexican restaurant near us as a waiter.  He is making good tips so he must be good at it.

Kim and I took a drive up to Payson, Pine and Strawberry AZ for the day on a weekend.  It reminded us of Bend, but a little warmer :)  It was cooler then down in the valley, but we happened to pick a extra warm weekend for our drive, too bad for us.  Beautiful place, we would definitely like to spend some more time here.

Shoofly Indian Ruins were believed to have been occupied between A.D. 1000-1250 by native Americans.

Tonto Natural Bridge – Fun, but a very steep hike, made more difficult by the fact that both Kim and I only had flip flops on for the trek.DSC_0023

Father’s Day – I don’t how I got so lucky to be given the opportunity to be a father for my two boys, but I’m very thankful.  They spoiled me with gifts, good food and a round of golf…what more could I ask for.

June has provided us with the opportunity to experience some of the Arizona dry heat.

Have a great July.

Love the changes you made to your backyard, especially the outdoor lighting - gorgeous! Autumn drools over your pool and hot tub regularly. We need to take a trip down to visit you (and your pool).

Wow, what a beautiful transformation. I think that I need to come see it in person, but I will wait for it to cool down a bit. Did you do all the work yourself?
