We celebrated the 4th of July with our traditional fireworks on the lake. It was a great show as usual, just a little melancholy as it will be our last time. Hopefully some lake in AZ will have a fireworks show that we can go to.
Shortly after the 4th Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. It was great that they were able to make it out before we move west. They won’t have a free hotel anymore so they may not make it out this way again anytime soon.
We had an excellent visit with them and while the boys and I had to work much of the time we did manage to do some fun things.
We took a ride around the lake and had dinner at one of our regular summer restaurants.
We also spent a fun day in the city.

Time Square
Look closely, can you see Chayce, Grandpa and Grandma? This was a live feed of Times Square, in Times Square.
Kim and Brandon joined us later for dinner and a show. (Brandon had to work and Kim was recovering from Strep throat)
Grandpa and Grandma treated us to Evita. I have to admit we are going to miss the easy access we have had to Broadway shows once we move. Kim and I were going through the shows we have seen and I have to admit it was a pretty good list.
The rest of the month was work and getting ready to move. Kim has been selling all our belongings on Craig’s list and a big garage sale.
Here is the garage sale master Ms. Money Bags!
Have a great August!
