Well after taking October off (and getting a disproportionate share of grief I might add) I figure we had better get back on the wagon and make sure we do a November report. Even if we don't have all that much to report on. It seems like life is just one big routine. We just do the same stuff over and over and over again.
Kim and Chayce took a quick trip to Utah to visit Kim's new Grand Niece Lola and Niece Lalia and to visit BYU. They had a great time and included a visit to our old Springville neighborhood along with a meal at our favorite greasy spoon Mexican place. I can't believe they went without me, in fact they knew they were being naughty, because they conspired not to tell me.
Chayce spent the night in the dorms with a friend of his and had a great time getting a taste of college life. I think BYU has moved up significantly on his list of options.
Speaking of College, Chayce has finished his college application process and is now waiting replies from schools. They better try hard if they want him… Trust me they will be lucky to have him.
We finally had to admit the boating season was over and get the boat put away for the winter. We did take a couple of boat rides around the lake to enjoy the fall colors, but she is all shrunk rapped and set for the winter.
Brandon giving us a tour around the lake
Thanksgiving was nice and relaxing, just the way we like it. We had four days of sleeping in, playing games and eating too much. I don't think much more needs to be said. Oh ya, as far as the sleeping in goes, we didn't get as much of that as we would have liked. Brandon had basketball tryouts on Friday and Saturday mornings at 7AM. Are you kidding me? What are they thinking?
Brandon is trying out for the high school Basketball team. It is a big hill to climb. 1700 kids and JV and Varsity teams that can accommodate 25 kids, doesn't give you great odds. We should know later this week if he made the team.
Have a great December and Christmas! Can't wait to hear about what Santa brings everyone.

I was just checking to see your October report. Cheater. I looked on my camera yesterday and I haven't taken one photo all month. I loved the fall colors on your boat ride.
Just sat down to blog and found yours. It was great to see the pictures. I'm feeling so lonesome for all of you. Glad to hear that Chayce liked Byu. Love Mom
Glad to hear that Chayce is starting to see the light - we would love to have another nephew in the area!!
