Grandpa and Grandma L came for a visit this month. It was nice to have them here. It has been a long time since they have visited. Kim took them on some day trips around NJ and they also spent a day in NYC. They had never been to the top of the Empire State building so they did that. I remember the last time they came we went into the city for that specific purpose and wouldn't you know it there was heavy fog and it made it pointless to go up. However this time they had perfect weather.
We spent Spring Break at the NJ Shore. The weather was absolutely fabulous with warm sunny skies and very little wind. The water was too cold for swimming, but we had a great time playing on the beach and being away from home. The surf was pretty good and made us wish we had the equipment and knew how to surf. I think a wet suite would be required since the water felt Oregonesk.
Brandon and Shelby tried to bury Chayce in hopes that there would be more candy and snacks for them. Shelby loves the beach. She is a digger and loves to dig in the sand. She doesn't want anything to do with the water and wouldn't get close.
We spent a significant amount of time playing football. Chayce and Brandon were determined to make the most spectacular diving catch.
Kim did what Kim does best. "Read"! And of course make sure we all have a fun time.

I ended my month with a business trip to Florida which included a round of golf. The course we played wasn't the best Florida golf course I've ever been on, but hey I was golfing in Florida and getting paid for it, how can that be bad.

Doesn't Brandon know about the dog licking torture technique? Having Chayce burried like that would have been a perfect opportunity to encourage Shelby to give his face a real good lick. Glad you guys are having fun!
Sure enjoy you blogs. You have really started something here. Jef and I are the only ones that don't know how to do it. Even Ellie has her blog up there.
