March Report

Well as I said in the February Report we started the month with over a foot of snow and 15 degree temperatures. It didn't last long because a few days later is was over 70. The rest of the month was a mix of moderate to cold weather, not very spring like yet. I can tell you we are all looking forward to some consistently warm weather. Every time the sun shines we run outside in hopes that it will be warm, unfortunately we are often fooled.

Kim turned 29 this month and hopefully we spoiled her enough so she knows how much we love her.

Towards the middle of the month, Kim and I went into the city for a day and had a nice time walking around. We had lunch at the Stage Deli. It is a famous deli supposedly frequented by famous people. The only two celebrities we saw were us, so I guess that will have to do. The food was good (huge sandwiches). We also went to the Brooks Brothers warehouse sale and picked up some work cloths for me (very good prices).

The highlight of the day was doing the Times Square Shuffle. Funny, all the times I've been to NYC and unless I've forgotten this is the first time I recall seeing these signs. Kind of a funny name for a detour don't you think?



The rest of the month was pretty boring. Much to our disappointment Brandon decided he needed time off from sports and isn't playing baseball this year. I guess after all these years of non-stop sports he needed a break. My reports will be pretty short until Football starts again.

I was consumed with work this month, I have a major project that has been going on for almost 2 years that is coming to completion so it has been rather crazy with long days and short nights. The team worked all weekend but I'm happy to report we "went live" on Sunday the 29th with no major issues. The next few weeks will tell the full story, but it was nice to get past this milestone.

Kim and I managed to find time to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. That weekend we took a drive out to the Poconos to look at vacation houses and then on our anniversary we went out for a romantic dinner. I got in trouble because halfway through dinner I lost steam and wasn't very entertaining or romantic anymore. It really is hard getting old, its not fair that Kim is still 29 and I'm, well...much older.

School keeps Chayce and Brandon pretty busy. The rest of the time they keep the ladies entertained. They both seem to have a pretty busy social life. Its all rather hush hush and we aren't allowed to ask too many questions about it.
